Ingredients:
- 2 ¼ cups (270g) all-purpose flour
- 1 ½ teaspoons baking powder
- 2 tablespoons matcha powder
- ¾ cup (150g) granulated sugar
- ½ cup (115g) unsalted butter, melted
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- ½ cup (60g) almonds, chopped
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Whisk together flour, baking powder, and matcha powder.
- Beat sugar, melted butter, eggs, and vanilla until well combined. Gradually add dry ingredients, then stir in almonds.
- Form the dough into a log on the baking sheet, flatten slightly.
- Bake for 25 minutes, then cool for 15 minutes. Cut into slices and bake again for 10 minutes each side.
